Webster-pak® Will Build Your Business by Helping You Improve Your Customer Service
With the introduction of the Webster-pak, many pharmacies have achieved growth. One New South Wales pharmacy went from a couple to 40 Webster-pak patients in no time at all.
This growth was due to them offering a higher than average level of customer service and this service was recognised as such by doctors and people in their local area. Doctors send their patients to the pharmacies they know will give their patients the best advice and support.
By offering Webster-pak you automatically join a strong network designed to build your business and make you more profit.
Doctors will refer their patients to you
Referrals will also come from other patient support services like home nursing services, aged care assessment teams, psychiatric services and medical specialists such as geriatricians. You will become recognised as a progressive and responsive pharmacist.
Patients will choose you as their number one pharmacy and spend more money with you.
Relatives and friends of the patient will shop with you as the 'word of mouth' factor comes into play. Your reputation as a quality pharmacy will travel throughout your local community.
Webstercare constantly refer doctors and carers to pharmacies who carry Webster-pak.
Doctors Support Webster-pak®
Webstercare® conducted an educational program with doctors highlighting the fact that 50% of patients don't comply with the prescribed consumption of their medication. The doctors' response was extremely positive with approximately 60% of all the doctors surveyed saying Webster-pak was instrumental in a better than expected recovery by their patients.
New Feature Proves Invaluable For Aged Care Facilities
Software developments have lead to the ability to print resident images on header cards. This invaluable feature makes administration easier, as the resident is clearly identifiable from the pack.
Help with Brand Substitution
This new 'Prescribed As' feature came about as a result of nurses requests for more information on packs.
Now, brand ordered and brand supplied can be listed on the Webster-pak.
This feature is particularly good for new staff, agency staff or carers giving them peace of mind that the right resident is receiving the right medication.
Utilising a laser or inkjet printer, in colour or black and white the results are fantastic. With the resident image everyone can be certain the right resident is receiving the right medication. See the What’s New section of this website for more details.

Catering for the needs of non-English speaking clients
Webster-paks are now available in different languages. The Multi-Lingual Webster-pak allows clients for whom English is not the first language, to experience the benefits of Webster-pak.
Times of day and days of the week are printed in any one of 20 different languages. Having this information in their own language increases the chances of prescribed medication being taken correctly by people from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Multi-Lingual Webster-pak satisfy’s a strong need in the community. As people age, they may revert to their mother tongue. This is especially so for dementia sufferers.
Medication information is still printed in English. This is necessary for pharmacy checks and carers. Emergency services staff may also need this information.
The Multi-Lingual advantage:
20 languages are available:
Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Serbian, Tagalog, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
A big improvement for those who have poor eyesight
As we age many people become short sighted and suffer from vision impairment. The Australian Bureau of Statistics estimate that 13.6% of the population aged 75 years and over have a vision impairment. Webstercare has been working on a medication management solution for clients with low vision and vision impairment.
In discussions with Vision Australia, formerly the Royal Blind Society, Webstercare learned that it is easier for a person with low vision to make out white text against a black background. This has led to the development of the Webster-pak LV (Low Vision).
On the Webster-pak LV the larger font size presented as sentence case aids word recognition for people with low vision.
These changes, with the white on black contrast of the pack, helps people to identify the correct dosage time and take their medication as prescribed by their doctor.
Advantages of Webster-pak LV:

Cold Seal Webster-pak is convenient and very useful when there is a chance the blue folder may not be returned for re-fill. The pressure sensitive adhesive that holds the pack together means no specialised sealing equipment is needed. It’s quick and easy for use in any pharmacy.
