Multi-Lingual Webster-pak®

Caters for the linguistic needs of many cultures

Webster-paks are now available in different languages. The Multi-Lingual Webster-pak allows clients for whom English is not the first language, to experience the benefits of the Webster-pak.

Times of day and days of the week are printed in any one of 20 different languages. Having this information in their own language increases the chances of prescribed medication being taken correctly by people from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Multi-Lingual Webster-pak satisfies a strong need in the community. As people age, they may revert to their mother tongue. This is especially so for dementia sufferers.

Medication information is still printed in English. This is necessary for pharmacy checks and for carers. Emergency services staff may also need this information.

Advantages of the Multi-Lingual Webster-pak:

  • As easy to use as the regular Webster-pak

  • Pre-printed with translations for dosage times, ie; breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime

  • Days of the week are translated at the side of the folder

20 languages are available:

Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Serbian, Tagalog, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

Webster-pak® LV for Low Vision

Poor eyesight? Great solution.

Responding to the Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates that 13.6% of the population 75 years and over suffer 'vision impairment' - Webstercare developed a 'low vision and vision impairment' medication management solution.
In discussions with Vision Australia, (formerly the Royal Blind Society) it became apparent that it is easier for a person with low vision to make out white text against a black background. This led to the development of the Webster-pak LV (Low Vision).
Larger font size on the Webster-pak LV presented as 'sentence case' aids word recognition. This, with the white on black contrast of the pack, helps people identify correct dosage time and take their medication as prescribed by their doctor.
Advantages of Webster-pak LV:
  • Larger font and the white text on the black background makes it easier to read.
  • Upper and lower (sentence) case text is proven to be easier for people to recognise words from their shape allowing for identification of the relevant day and dosage time.
