The RxMedChart™ System

Streamlined, best practice,

time efficient

A revolution in the way medications are prescribed, dispensed and managed in residential aged care facilities.

The RxMedChart system is Webstercare’s computer generated version of the National Residential Medication Chart (NRMC) and will change the way medications are prescribed, dispensed and managed in residential aged care facilities.

The RxMedChart has been designed to comply with the Commonwealth National Health (Residential Medication Chart) Determination 2012, as at 10 July 2012.* It is a complete charting system that records all necessary medication information in a  consistent format to be used as a valid prescription.**

To date, the RxMedChart system has been approved for use in all states. Please check with Webstercare for any specific legislative requirements in your state.

Benefits of using the RxMedChart system

  • Designed to reduce risk and be time-efficient for the RACF, pharmacy and doctor.

  • Medication information is printed by the pharmacy and then reviewed and verified by a doctor, minimising the risk of error due to legibility of handwriting.

  • Improves the quality of information available to all members of the health care team.

  • Supported by a change-managed implementation process and online training program.

  • Supported by auditing, management and communication procedures.

  • Doctors have access to an up-to-date and complete record of the medication profile which can be emailed to prescribers with each medication change.
