Gerard began practicing as a pharmacist in 1968. In 1980 Gerard introduced the Webstersystem® to Australia, and in 1985 along with Paul introduced Webster-pak® into hostels and the community. He is accredited to perform medication reviews in residential aged care facilities. Gerard is an expert in the development of systems and processes that compliment the principle of the quality use of medicines.
