A new way for consumers and healthcare providers to securely access a list of current medicines, uploaded by your pharmacist.
The Pharmacist Shared Medicines List (PSML) is a current list of medicines curated by the pharmacist and uploaded to a consumers MyHealth Record via the Webstercare software.
The PSML may include those medicines prescribed by the doctor, non-prescription medicines including over-the-counter or complementary medicines (such as vitamins or herbal medicines) a person may take. This list will include details on how and when to take the medicines at the time the list was created.
The PSML is created in the Webstercare software from a range of sources already used by pharmacists when curating customer medication profiles. These include:
Once a PSML is created or updated within the Webstercare software, it is directly uploaded to the patients MyHealth Record. A new PSML will be created and uploaded to My Health Record whenever a new medication is prescribed or an existing one ceased.
The Pharmacist Shared Medicines List can benefit patients with a complex condition or chronic disease and who are taking multiple medications.
